The new model 57NR, aiming for the "strongest" in the R series.

The 57CR, 57DR, and 57XR have been active in all genres, not just drift competitions, without choosing a scene. A completely new item has been added to the classic "R" series, which has gained wide support in sports scenes around the world, including D1GP and FORMULA DRIFT. Its name is 57NR. The 10-spoke design, following RAYS' traditional N-series design, excels in stress dispersion and firmly receives input from the road surface. A new design "C-FORM" has been added between the spokes to increase rigidity. This allows it to maintain a true circle even under strong force conditions. Furthermore, the strength of the inner rim has been dramatically improved through RAYS' newly developed "H.S.PLUS" (High Strength Plus Technology). It maximizes the machine's power and tire grip to achieve powerful traction. The 57NR was born to be the "strongest" wheel in the series. There are no oversights in design and performance.

In modern machines where high power and increased vehicle weight are prominent, how to receive the generated force is an important issue. Especially, increasing the strength of the spoke openings is a technique actively used in motorsports. The new design "C-FORM," which incorporates this concept, contributes to increased rigidity while minimizing weight increase. The technology fed back directly from the racing scene is unique to RAYS.
To further strengthen the wheel's inner rim, the new "H.S.PLUS" (High Strength+) manufacturing method has been adopted this time. By applying special processing to the inner rim, the balance between tensile stress and compressive stress is controlled, strengthening the inner rim without increasing weight.
The "RAYS" machining logo applied to the 57NR. A cutting technology that reproduces delicate designs on three-dimensional curved surfaces using RAYS' patented "Advanced Machining Technology-AMT." To establish this technique, RAYS designed and developed everything from the machine tools to the cutting edges in-house. Brand logos and credits, which were previously expressed with stickers or castings using molds, are now engraved with a three-dimensional feel, further enhancing the 57NR's exquisite looks.
The knurling on the bead seat area suppresses slippage between the wheel and tire, which is prone to occur under high traction, minimizing traction loss and changes in tire balance.
The EH2+ hump, matched with recent machine and tire setups.
In recent drift competitions, tire pressure is set low to utilize traction. To reduce the risk of bead unseating, which can occur as a drawback, the hump shape "EH2+" used for run-flat tire wheels has been adopted. ※Adopted on 18×9 1/2J, 19×10 1/2J.
