The long-awaited competition spec
The "A-LAP-J" series, designed exclusively for the Jimny, offers ultra-lightweight performance. To this series, we have added the long-awaited competition specification. In harsh environments like JSTC and WEST high-speed trial races, the lightweight nature of the A-LAP-J is a significant advantage, but there was demand for a specification with even greater strength. In response to this demand, we established the "A-LAP-J PRO." Incorporating feedback from the racing scene, we reinforced the rim flange, spokes, and rim thickness, achieving approximately a 30% increase in strength against vertical inputs to the rim. Of course, the reinforcement was implemented with careful consideration to not compromise the lightweight characteristic that defines the A-LAP-J, and that lightness has not been lost. Furthermore, we have set the size to 5J with an offset of -18. We have narrowed the rim as much as possible to enhance off-road performance.

Size chart note: ※ Compatible with genuine Jimny center caps (rear only). ※ Regarding rim width, the S rim is 35mm, and the L rim is 55mm.
In the Jimny community, where 195R16C is popular as a competition size, there was a demand for rims narrower than 5.5J. Considering this feedback, we set the narrow size of 5J. At the same time, considering the desire for a wider tread for greater stability, we set the offset to -18. Of course, we also have sizes for the standard Jimny/Sierra.
Compared to the standard A-LAP-J, we have increased the thickness not only of the rim flange but also the inner rim and spokes, achieving up to a 30% increase in strength against vertical inputs to the rim. This is the result of incorporating feedback from racing.
