The VV27S, featuring a 7-intersection mesh design, makes its grand entrance.
The VV27S, the latest model in the VV series, is designed based on a 7-intersection cross-spoke pattern, positioned between the 2x5 design of the VV21S and VV25R and the 10-intersection mesh of the VV25M. Its form, which utilizes the height difference between the main spokes and side spokes—a characteristic design element of VERSUS—creates a three-dimensional presence beyond its size and a deep concave impression. The wing-like side spokes incorporate contrasting elements: a sense of independence and unity with the main spokes, an organic feel, and a solidity from the relief pockets, producing rich shading. This design, optimal not only for large-bodied minivans and SUVs but also for imported sports coupes, establishes a new standard for the VV series.

The "VERSUS" machining logo applied to the VV27S. A cutting technology that reproduces intricate designs onto three-dimensional curved surfaces using RAYS' proprietary patented technology, "Advanced Machining Technology-AMT." To establish this technique, RAYS designed and developed everything in-house, from the machine tools to the cutting edges. Brand logos and credits, previously expressed through stickers or castings in molds, are now three-dimensionally engraved, enhancing the VV27S's value. Furthermore, in Jet Black, it shines with a prismatic color due to light refraction effects.
The relief pocket (through-hole) on the spoke side, created through the latest analysis technology. This cut-out on the spoke side significantly contributes to weight reduction but can greatly impact strength and rigidity. RAYS' analysis technology and design capability achieve this without compromising those aspects. This detail, which removes unnecessary bulk while maintaining strength and rigidity, can truly be called functional beauty.
The spokes that dip significantly towards the center are a defining feature of the VV27S. The spokes extending to the flange and the concave shape that scoops inward like a mortar form the essential skeleton of this work, which advocates the latest in basic & mode styles.
