High rigidity to match evolving high-grip tires
The CE28 Club Racer series has been developed since 2012 for drivers participating in circuit driving, one-make races, and cup races enjoyed with street cars. Based on the lightweight CE28N, it has received high praise from drivers who require it. In the 'TOYOTA GAZOO Racing 86/BRZ Race', notable tire manufacturers have achieved lap time improvements with radial tires that have significantly increased grip compared to a few years ago. This influence extends to various parts, reaching levels far beyond the initial settings. Therefore, RAYS has developed an updated model for this class as well. The Club Racer II features increased thickness in the spoke cross-section, base, and inner rim area, with the major change being a revision of the center hole area, closing the lightweight holes to suppress disc deformation and inner rim deflection. This effect is remarkable; although the mass increases by approximately 200g or more compared to the standard model in comparative tests, it provides stability during corner entry and under load in high-speed corners, as well as traction that does not give way.
