The factory air intake, lower air cleaner housing and resonator are integrated into a single molding to further improve intake efficiency and increase output.

Air filters of the factory shape can be used. The body is molded from carbon, combining strength and low weight while also adding a visual accent to the engine bay.

Increasing intake air volume and improving cylinder filling efficiency is an effective way to increase engine torque and power.

The SYMS Air Induction Box therefore revises the passage from the intake duct inlet to the air cleaner box. The intake duct is expanded as far as the available space allows and molded into a shape that draws in airflow efficiently. Fresh air at higher pressure (density), produced by the incoming airflow (see ram air below), is directed across the entire air cleaner and supplied to the engine through the airflow sensor to increase power.

An optimized layout and design for each vehicle further improve performance. On some vehicles, the factory resonator section is also integrated into the molding, with an additional air inlet. This draws in air from inside the fender as well, providing incoming airflow plus additional air. Airflow is assessed for each vehicle to select the optimum dedicated layout.

The molded carbon construction combines performance and appearance at a high level, offering premium functional beauty.
