Type II hood air scoop for turbo Legacy BR/BM and BP/BL. Manufacturer prices: FRP JPY 39,000 excluding tax; Vero Carbon JPY 49,800 excluding tax. Also fits turbo BE/BH, with an approximately 3 mm larger gap at the front of the hood.
Enlarges the hood intake opening to use vehicle-speed airflow more effectively; the supplier claims reduced intercooler intake air temperature, improved power/economy and a sportier appearance. Revised from Type I for greater airflow and sporting styling. The shape is designed so incoming airflow presses it into the hood; the supplier describes retention even above 260 km/h. Uses four factory mounting positions for bolted attachment, supplemented by double-sided tape on the sides and rear.
Separate manufacturer painting prices: FRP JPY 36,000 excluding tax; Vero Carbon JPY 42,000 excluding tax. These cover solid, metallic and two-coat pearl.
