Redesigned from 2026: the six-piston calipers have smoother, stronger and more controllable braking, internal fluid routing to reduce exposed-pipe damage, and a more compact exterior to ease wheel size and design restrictions. Calipers: NC-machined forged aluminum six-piston bodies with double internal oil seals, simplifying maintenance compared with external seals. Inward offset broadens wheel choice.
Rotors: dedicated two-piece design, 355 mm outside diameter and 32 mm thickness, with lightweight aluminum bells.
Pads: supplied multi-purpose pads rated for 0–800°C; a widely used shape permits selection of aftermarket replacements.
Brackets and accessories: high-strength steel caliper brackets designed to resist judder, plus stainless-steel braided brake hoses.
Standard caliper finish is red anodizing; rotor bells are brown-toned. Optional anodized colors include blue, black and green. Manufacturer color-change prices, for new orders only and per left/right pair: calipers JPY 19,000 excluding tax; brown Tough Coat adds JPY 28,000 excluding tax to that amount. Rotor bells JPY 14,000 excluding tax; brown Tough Coat adds JPY 24,000 excluding tax to that amount. Anodizing resists solvents such as brake fluid but may fade with UV exposure, age or high heat. Brown Tough Coat offers strong fade resistance. Re-anodizing during overhaul is unavailable; changing the color then requires paint, including the recessed logo.
