Description
R/LINE Third Apostle
Not only in D1GP and FORMULA DRIFT, but the 57DR and 57CR have gained support in various scenes. The 57XR joins as the third new member of this classic-style "R" series. The slender 2x6 spoke type 57XR features an authentic design, with a machined logo engraved on the spoke side as an accent, and paint applied over it to add an embossed logo-like finish. The spokes radiating from the center part are designed to extend straight through without terminating at the flange, visually appearing as if the spokes are clamping the flange. Furthermore, ribs are provided on the inner side of the flange, not only creating a visual sense of extended spoke leg length but also having the effect of making flange separation, which can occur during drifting, less likely. Of course, performance is also thoroughly addressed, with knurling applied to all sizes to suppress misalignment between the tire and wheel. Additionally, the EH2+ hump shape is adopted for the 17-inch 9J, 18-inch 9 1/2J and 10 1/2J, and 19-inch 10 1/2J sizes to reduce the risk of bead unseating that can occur when tire pressure is set low for drifting, etc. The 57XR debuts as a wheel worthy of bearing the new "R" name in both design and performance.
