By changing the angle between the spoke surface and the ribs on the spoke side, the visual concave feeling is enhanced.
While inheriting the VOUGE series' characteristic spoke shape that pierces through to the outer rim circumference, an edgy design that harmonizes with the latest vehicle body designs has been adopted. Against the smoothly extending organic spoke side, which is also a character element of VOUGE, VOUGE SE expresses a new "way of showing" by giving it a three-dimensional effect. Throughout the entire design, a sharper and more impactful spoke design has been achieved, resulting in a finish that matches a wider range of vehicle models.
For chrome colors like Chrome Italiano and Chrome Milled, RAYS' proprietary A.M.T. (Advanced Machining Technology) is used to apply a treatment where the logo shines in a prism color.
To bring affinity with the multifaceted, edgy feel of recent car designs, a linearly "bent" line has been adopted. Through repeated trial and error without disrupting the optimally balanced 15 "spaces," the design has been shaped to possess not only a sporty feel but also a high-end feel. The process where the main spoke and side spoke assimilate and harmonize as they approach the center is the essence of VERSUS design.
The high-grade specification "Chrome Milled," synonymous with VERSUS. By applying surface machining to the sparkling sputtering, contrast and an edgy feel are given, expressing a richer sense of luxury.
The "VERSUS" machining logo applied to the outer rim circumference is an ornament using RAYS' proprietary patented technology "A.M.T." (Advanced Machining Technology). To establish a machining technology that reproduces delicate designs even on three-dimensional curved surfaces, everything from the machine tools to the cutting edges has been designed and developed in-house. By having the brand logo, which was previously expressed with stickers or mold casting, engraved with a three-dimensional effect, VOUGE SE is made even more elegant.
