Increasing intake air volume and improving cylinder filling efficiency is an effective way to increase engine torque and power.

The SYMS RAM AIR BOX SYSTEM therefore revises the passage from the intake duct inlet to the air cleaner box. The intake duct is expanded as far as the available space allows and molded into a shape that draws in airflow efficiently. Fresh air at higher pressure (density), produced by the incoming airflow (see ram air below), is directed across the entire air cleaner and supplied to the engine through the airflow sensor to increase power.

An optimized layout and design further improve performance. Airflow is assessed to select the optimum dedicated layout.
