The factory anti-roll bar and links are installed at an angle to the suspension. Installing offset anti-roll bar links allows the bar to operate at nearly the same angle as the suspension's direction of movement.

This helps the suspension move smoothly and improves driving feel.

When the vehicle is lowered by changing the suspension, coil springs or similar components, the anti-roll bar remains pulled upward, restricting its intended movement.
