Racer Gauge Style 98 Hommage is a design series within the Racer Gauge line, referring back to the very first Defi Link-Meter of 1998. Black and white dials are paired with greenish illumination.

It is produced in Φ60 only: 200 kPa boost, pressure and temperature, each with two dial variants, six items in total. The lighting is permanently on regardless of the time of day: as it gets dark around you the green backlight comes forward and helps with night driving. There is no colour switching. The gauge is self-contained: no control unit is needed, it cannot be linked to the Defi-Link ADVANCE or Defi-Link systems, and each unit is wired for power separately.

Important when fitting: the white wire in the power harness must not be connected — insulate it. The illumination is designed to stay on regardless of the vehicle's light switch; connecting the white wire will stop it working correctly.
