Racer Gauge instruments run entirely on their own: no control unit is needed and each gauge is wired separately. Warning, peak and memory functions were deliberately left out to make the line more affordable.

Φ52, Φ60 and Φ80 sizes were produced. Φ52 and Φ60 cover boost, pressure, temperature, exhaust gas temperature and a voltmeter; Φ80 is a tachometer only, and it is the one that does have peak and warning functions. The illumination is self-luminous like the BF type, but unlike BF the glass is clear: the scale stays invisible with the lighting off thanks to the fully black dial. The needle is driven by Defi's own STEPMASTER VS-2 motor. Self-diagnosis for open and short circuits is included.
