Breaking away from the conventional angular impression, it adopts a smooth surface composition, evolving into a style that combines calmness and strength. The spoke top surface features machining, emphasizing the radial sense of extension and center drop, resulting in a design that highlights a stretched look and depth. Furthermore, by omitting decorative elements such as pierce bolts and keeping the center area clean, it achieves a refined balance. By reviewing the conventional stepped structure and finishing it with a flatter, smoother shape, it brings calmness and sophistication to the overall impression. The center cap has also been changed to a new design, featuring a clean face surface that provides flexibility to fit not only street styles but also diverse customizations.
By extending the surface machining firmly to the rim end, the spread of the spokes is emphasized. Combined with the center drop, it accentuates the stretched look and three-dimensional effect. Additionally, the pierce bolts adopted in the previous FDX have been eliminated, tightening the impression of the disc surface and finishing the entire design smartly.
The "TEAM DAYTONA" logo engraved on the spokes has been updated from the conventional casting to A.M.T. machining. This allows for more precise and sharp expression, evolving in both design and premium feel.
The "DC/Side Raised Black Metal Coat" set for the FDX-SG is a special finish that combines the deep, glossy luster from sputtering treatment with the sharp edges highlighted by top surface machining.
