Based on highly viscoelastic synthetic oil, this oil provides excellent starting performance while reducing dry starts in horizontally opposed engines and providing strong piston protection.

For greater durability, the ZERO SP Esterize series incorporates appropriately balanced amounts of White Ester, organic molybdenum and alkyl naphthalene.

White Ester consists of nonpolar groups that protect metal surfaces to reduce friction and polar groups that act as a cushion between metal and oil inside the engine. It is blended uniformly to maximize these properties.

Organic molybdenum is a friction modifier with a strong friction-reducing effect: molybdenum and sulfur compounds in the oil react chemically to form a film on contact surfaces.

Alkyl naphthalene, with its high solvency, helps maximize additive effectiveness.

ZERO SP Esterize ES 0W-20 maintains a strong oil film despite its low viscosity and enhances heat resistance and wear resistance. The 0W-20 viscosity grade reduces viscous resistance, allowing the oil to absorb engine heat quickly and transfer it to the coolant. This provides excellent heat dissipation and suppresses excessive temperatures inside the engine.

Improved oil supply to moving components inside the engine can also improve engine cooling. Its low viscosity also provides excellent fuel economy.

To help prevent LSPI, the formulation appropriately balances calcium detergent additives, which can cause LSPI, with magnesium-based additives that inhibit it.
