100% newly designed, inheriting performance, carrying evolution.
At the beginning of 2020, the project began. With the development of the TE37 SAGA S-plus on track and clearing bench tests, and after seeing the results of actual vehicle driving tests and a victory in that year's Super Taikyu 24-hour race, the development of the SAGA SL was fully launched. While the SAGA S-plus was sublimated into a wheel premised on use in Super Taikyu racing and designed and developed with consideration for fitment on a wide variety of vehicles, the goal for the SAGA SL was to embody the original definition of SL: 'Lighter than the original wheel,' 'TE37 Racing Concave,' and 'A black clear finish on diamond-cut surfaces that shows the traces of weight reduction characteristic of SL.' The only regrettable thing is that by sticking to this philosophy, the vehicles it can be mounted on are limited. However, we believe we have achieved the 'refined fierceness,' 'unique atmosphere,' and 'new performance' that can be understood by mounting the SAGA SL. There is meaning and significance in remaking the TE37 SL once more. This is because the SL philosophy, which always seeks solitary strength and lightness, has its own unique way. We do not lightly say 'we sought strength and lightness.' Because that is only permitted for those truly qualified to say so. Yes, the TE37 SAGA SL has that qualification.
